Hi I am Milly

With a background in finance glass fusing was not really where I imagined that I would end up.

I have always had artistic leanings and glass fascinates me because it shares all the characteristics of a supercooled liquid but exhibits all the mechanical properties of a solid.  So as glass is heated it slowly  softens and shapes eventually becoming liquid.

Covid was such a dreadful time in all of our lives but it gave me the time and opportunity to explore glass fusing more seriously. Added to this our move to Dunbar in 2021 gave me the inspiration from the landscapes and seascapes to use in my designs and also the opportunity to have my home craft studio.   

My move into small craft markets was very much a steep learning curve but one which brought me into contact with so many talented and kind people who were all ready with their help and guidance.  My move into an online presence has been motivated as much as anything by the many requests I have had whilst attending craft fairs and once again is a challenge which I am embracing.
